The third representation of the alliance system is the poster "Take Up the Sword of Justice." This signifies the death of the British soldiers as you can see. This photo shows a sinking ship and drawings of victims in the distance. The boat was torpedoed by a German submarine of the southern coast of Ireland 1915. The message that it is trying to be portrayed is a recruitment message. This one is an example of heroism because they want every individual to become a part and volunteer to help Britain in the war as shown how they are suffering in this time period.
