Andrew Kollymer fonds (P200)

Administrative History - Biographical Sketch:

Andrew Kollymer (1790-1818) served as a constable (1794-1797) and bailiff (1797-1812) in Montreal. He was also appointed to other government positions including those of poll clerk in 1804 and public crier in 1807. In addition to those posts, Kollymer was engaged in private business as an auctioneer from 1798 to 1815.

The Andrew Kollymer fonds pertains to his professional activities. The fonds consists of legal documents and lists which concern his activities as a constable, bailiff and auctioneer in Montreal and consist of warrants and court orders, legal depositions concerning attacks made upon him and lists of goods sold at public auction . Also included are official notices for his appointment to government positions and one family letter.
