Montrealers of Scottish Origin in the 19th Century
This selection of approximately 75 images shows artifacts evoking the presence of people, institutions and associations of Scottish origin in Montreal in the 19th century. Among the latter are the Presbyterian church, the St. Andrew's Society, the Beaver Club, the Montreal General Hospital, the Caledonian Society, the Royal Montreal Curling Club and the Black Watch of Canada.
- Photographs and paintings of often prominent Montrealers of Scottish origin;
- Illustrations and photographs depicting curling, golf, the Presbyterian religion, St. Andrew's Society balls, buildings associated with the Scottish community, the Black Watch of Canada;
- Medals awarded by the Beaver Club, objects that belonged to Montrealers of Scottish origin.
