This selection of approximately 200 images provides a sample of the collections related to Acadian culture. It recalls some of the places, events and personalities that created the identity and shaped the history of this French-speaking, Maritime community.
- Illustrations and other items on the near-mythical Évangéline, a fictional character from a p.m recalling the deportation of the Acadians (1755);
- Engravings, newspaper excerpts and objects linked to the Acadian Renaissance since 1860;
- Prominent figures and some of their possessions, from the 19th century to the present;
- Documents related to education.
