Keystone View Company

The Keystone View Company was founded in 1892 in Meadville, Pennsylvania, by B. L. Singley. Incorporated in 1895, the company went on to become one of the most important publishers of stereographs in the world.

The key to the company's success was the educational kits that it produced. These were made up of stereoscopic images and descriptive texts on culture, industry, commerce and international politics. In 1922, Keystone View Co. became the only company in the world producing stereoscopic views. It continued operations until the 1970s.
