Wallis & Shepherd

Photographs signed "Wallis & Shepherd" are no doubt the work of Herbert Wallis, who was probably the photographer, and Robert W. Shepherd, the vice-president of the Richelieu & Ontario Navigation Co. steamship line. These photographs were acquired by the McCord Museum along with a series of magic lantern negatives used by McGill University for some of its illustrated lectures in the early 20th century.
