In the first World War, many Canadian soldiers lined up to volunteer to fight in the war which seemed to have so little to do with them. Why did they do that? The reason can be various for every individual, but in general there are four main points: for themselves, for their family, for their mother country, the Britain empire and for their belief, the god. The contents of the conscript posters are the best answer to the questions. They met straight forward to the needs and wants of a potential volunteer soldier. So I try to explain my reason by putting a large number of them.
