"CAPE GASPE: Here our aeroplane has reached the most easterly point of Cape Gaspe and we turned inwards towards Gaspe Basin, the famous harbour which was made still more famous by the departure of the Canadian Expeditionary Force which sailed from there on the 3rd of October 1914."

Excerpt from "CANADIAN GEOGRAPHY & ECONOMICS: The St. Lawrence River" (Lecture A.4 and A.11); booklet, McGill University Illustrated Lectures, about 1930.
