Description

This educational game, published in England in 1824 by the E. Wallis Co., reveals the passion of both children and adults for British culture. The game depicts the kings and queens of England from William the Conqueror to George IV, and was used to teach children English history. Note the picture of King George IV in the centre, a reminder of crown control over Canada.
