Keys to History

The original of this composite, showing the Montreal Snow Shoe Club on Mount Royal, hangs in the mezzanine of the M.A.A.A. headquarters on Peel Street. The Club was one of the three founding members of the M.A.A.A. Featured in the center foreground of the picture is Lord Stanley of Preston, Governor General of Canada and donor in 1893 of the hockey trophy known worldwide as the Stanley Cup.
