"You press the button, we do the rest" was the motto, and Kodak pointed out that people could illustrate their own lives, and that such a pictorial history would be valued more and more as time passed. Given the freedom to record whatever they wanted, they obtained more relaxed view of the world and a flood of snapshots was unleashed.
