"But the question for the consideration of the public, in connection with Railroad communications to the United States, is not whether we can have a bridge, but whether it is possible to construct a Railroad bridge opposite to this city- a bridge capable of transporting a railroad train into the city of Montreal, in like manner, as railway trains are now brought into the heart of the city of Boston."
