"Railroads and Bridges are almost the all engrossing topics of the present day, and force themselves upon us.
Projects of vast extent, involving the outlay of millions, are now matters of Legislative consideration; these, or some of them, will add to our resources, open up our country, and bring us into active communication with the rest of the world- conferring upon the Province an incalculable degree of lasting benefit."
